About me

The success of therapy rests on the relationship between therapist and client. While that bond takes time to grow, from the very first moment, our brains are already searching for signs of safety and familiarity, a sense that we might be understood. I invite you to read on and see if something in my story resonates with you.

The psychologist

I am a certified clinical psychologist and psychotherapist under supervision with the Romanian College of Psychologists. My journey began in a cancer clinic, an intense and humbling place to start. There, I learned what acceptance and hope look like when life is at its hardest. The patients I met taught me to search for what’s good, even in the middle of fear and uncertainty.

Later, I moved into a social centre offering free therapy to those who couldn’t afford it. That experience opened my eyes differently. I worked closely with young people carrying heavy stories of childhood abuse, anxiety, self-criticism, borderline personality disorder, or depression. What stayed with me most was their resilience, how people can still grow, heal, and find strength despite everything they’ve been through.

Now I continue my work both online and in my private practice in Cluj-Napoca. I work with adults of all ages, from 18 to 60, who come with diverse challenges. Many are searching for clarity around life goals, trying to understand their past to grow, or learning to live with difficult personality traits. Others want to rediscover joy, deepen their sense of self, or find their way through periods of intense emotional distress.

The human

I’ve always been guided by curiosity; it’s what’s pushed me to explore new places, roles, and ideas rather than settle for easy answers. I like to dig deeper, to question, to connect dots that don’t seem to belong together at first. At the same time, empathy comes naturally to me, and I tend to tune into people and their stories with genuine interest.

In the last few years, psychotherapy has given me something I didn't have before: a sense of balance. Being a psychotherapist feels like slipping into something that was always meant for me, grounding and freeing. It gives me a deeper appreciation for life and the joy of doing something that matters to other people. The connection that forms in a session is where I feel I do my best work, and where I feel most myself.

At my core, I take things in deeply. I pick up on small shifts in people, the atmosphere in a room, and the patterns that quietly run underneath. Like a mirror, I reflect what I see, not in a distant or clinical way, but with care and genuine curiosity. I can hold the bigger picture while also noticing the subtle details others might miss.

Outside of therapy, you’ll probably hear me talking about my two cats, Mango and Cocos, my joy of living on islands, where life feels slower and closer to what matters, or my fascination with archaeology—the layers of meaning, the way the past quietly shapes the present. â€‹I also love walking, yoga, and paying attention to the small patterns of daily life,
